JoAnn Pearson, age 71, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church, 271 South Highway 79, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413. Reverend Jim Stansbury will officiate.
Ms. Pearson was born May 22, 1938 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Lester Watford and Connie Cobb Watford Bunn. She retired from Nations Bank in Norfolk, Virginia as an Assistant Vice President of the Auditing Department. JoAnn was a member of Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Pearson is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Marc Steven & Patti D. Belton of Gainesville, her granddaughters, Christina L Mercer of Mississippi, Elizabeth I. Dillashaw of Gainesville, Natalie J. Martin of Gainesville, Amber N. Belton of Gainesville, Sarah J. Belton of Gainesville, Hannah C. Belton of Gainesville and Angelica P. Belton of Gainesville; one grandson, Jeremiah J. Belton of Gainesville; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Pearl Adams of Panama City Beach, Florida; brother-in-law, Robert Adams of Panama City Beach, Florida; and one nephew, Steve Adams of Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church, Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church, 271 South Highway 79, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.
